The thong strap is designed for superior comfort and longevity. The sole of the BFF is molded with the natural shape of the foot thus providing full support with no pressure spots. The company was founded on the basis that everyone should have access to low-cost, effective, supportive flip-flops. Flip-flops are traditionally flat cut-outs of foot-shaped material. Have you ever noticed that running shoes and cross trainers have an arch built in. The reason is because scientific investigation has revealed that arch and heal support is ideal for our feet. Regular flip-flops are just cutouts of flat material that drastically increases the damage to our joints.

At BetterFlopFlop.com the sole of our flip-flop is not cut from a flat sheet of material. Every sole of every BFF is made from a mold that incorporates the typical shape of the sole directly into a single piece of foam-rubber to make a low cost, high functioning, and high quality product. The BFF is designed to function just like a true custom orthotic. Orthotic inserts can be placed into most shoes but do not work with sandals. Through a combination of working with physics experts and custom orthotic designers we have collaborated to produce the ideal form and function flip-flop sole.
